The MT188 is a manual dip card reading device, which supports contact IC card,contactles IC card reader reading & writing, magnetic card (track 1 & 2 or track 2 & 3) reading,and PSAM card(1 slot) reading and writing.

There will be dirt on magnetic head  or IC contact surface after card readers are used for a while.So the card readers need periodic maintenance.

1): Cleaning maintenance is recommended after 20,000 operationa or six months.

2): Magnetic head cleaning: Insert the cleaning cards(after dipped in alcohol) into card readers to move back and forth for several times.

3): IC card contact surface cleaning: Insert the special cleaning tool(after dipped in alcohol on the buush side) into card reader as IC card contact direction and pull back and forth for several times.
